Who needs the weather channel on Direct TV to warn of dangerous weather. I have had Direct and Dish, and I've never experienced dangerous weather that did not completely kill the signal I was receiving, rendering it impossible to watch the weather channel. Perhaps their argument may work for land based television providers, but I don't see it holding much over my head as far as satellite.
Wait. One of their suggestions, "do you wanna", contains one of the restricted words, "You". Even they can't suggest titles for the game that don't violate their trademark based on their reading.
Good job. We'd hate for there to be something out in the public consciousness that might make people want to watch our show. Send out the lawyers, make it so the show appears to never have existed.
Arrested? Nah, he'll probably just go on a permanent vacation with no expected return date.
Well, I can honestly state I will never complain negatively about their service.
Of course, I also won't be buying anything from them ever.
If you treat your customers right, your reputation takes care of itself. That's what I've always believed anyways.
So we have a judge working part time as a judge making $13,000 a year from it and by all accounts seems to be actively disclosing his other job to the mayor and advisory boards, actively trying to prevent conflicts of interest and working another job to support himself while doing the things he enjoys doing.
What's he supposed to do, take kickbacks and become corrupt to make up for the money that being a part time judge doesn't pay?
Then again, maybe the fact he's not is the real issue in this decision.
More like:

I still think Google should try an experiment, and for one day/week whatever, any search for an RIAA or MPAA search term should come up empty, with a note explaining what they are doing. Then see how that affects everyone, torrent and legal alike.
I've been curious if the reason he was unable to board the plane is he found out there was a layover somewhere there was a warrant for him.
It's like trying to sue a map maker because you can use their map to find directions to a crack house.
Reminds me of a three year old.
Oooh, a red circle on top of the stove....OWWWWWWW that hurts. Ooooh, a red circle.......OWWWWWW. Oooh, a red circle..
and so on and so forth. Maybe it's time to try something different?
Perhaps this is a good time for people to ask for a subpena to prevent Google from deleting the backups. Maybe Steele should have talked to his forensics firm to remind him that he can't delete those backups as well?
The AG's set their sights on their next target:
"An apple a day keeps the Dr away."
This phrase makes light of the millions of uninsured in america.
Wow. you hit that on the head. You must be psychic.
We can't stand for it. This is clearly a case of the competent bullying the lesser competent.
Hunch? Just sounds like a fancy word for profiling to me.
A big win, not really. However had this gone sideways somehow, this could have been a big loss. It is not wrong to celebrate a victory, even an expected victory, when the outcome could have been catastrophic.
Guess we know now why they let the Fl Suit go, why swipe at the flys with your hand when you can bring out the fly swatter?
That's because they get more money the more parents buy pictures. They probably get less money the more students are opted out. Just follow the money.
What's sad is that this is a school system and they are more concerned about money than their students.
Doctors are considered professional too. I take it this means we no longer have to investigate medicare fraud.
