So we invaded Iraq to give them freedom, is anybody coming to invade us to do the same?
I like that you're willing to anonymously shout that. Put up or shut up.
I think it should be a new rule that everyone who clamors about 'protecting artists' and stopping people from abusing other people's work should have to show their own work.
How many of these people so very concerned about ensuring artists can make a living are making their own living off of these same artists?
I purchased a book written by a Chinese man that criticizes his government. They have banned this book and charged him with crimes. They have also taken action against the printer of the book.
My book was written and printed in China and owning it is a crime. I'm making my flight arrangements to China to turn myself in.
'Albums", what about live shows? Merchandise?
This 'investment', I assume only count major labels...?
Excellent job reading. You will see when you read the article, that Universal's own site link to thisis50.com
That's some fine police work there, Lou.
It's a problem to use NBC's message because the government is supposed to use an objective view.
according to who is this dying? You have evidence of the contrary in front of you

User's have an amount of upload bandwidth that they are paying for? If they choose to send legal content to someone else, why should it be throttled?
Sony made the claim, "But Sony notified the judge that, when it got the drives from Hotz, they were no longer working. ?Hotz had removed integral components from his impounded hard drives, rendering them completely non-functional.? (.pdf), the company claimed in a filing."

Perhaps, you should have read the story prior to posting your theory on the incompetence of Sony's lawyers in not asking questions of the third party on the issue.
..and I'll be buying Crysis 2 even though I'm not a huge fan of shooters. Good move, Crytek
Except the people who 'use less' won't pay less than they are now.
It's bad idea to upset 4chan.
It's hard to think. Can't I just do what Sarah Palin tells me to do?
I give back tax writeoffs too. I am a good human being up until I can't claim it on my taxes anymore.
The thing I find interesting is I worked for blockbuster when I was younger (1999-2000) and our store got new updated computers and new internal software that was apparently being rolled out nationwide.
The new software had an option for online rentals. We were told that it wasn't active at the time, but users would be able to 'rent movies online'.
They seemed to have some plans for starting some type of service a long time ago. Wonder what happened with that.
Whoa, when did Wozniak not tow the company line? Just like when he said the iphone had no problems making calls, right?
He wasn't fired *because* he said controversial things. He was fired because his job was to be a spokesman and representative for the brand.
Expressing his against the grain opinions publicly is doing a crummy job of that. If you're bad at your job, you should be fired.
He was not good at that job. Notice his NFL job where being a spokesperson and representative is a secondary duty has not yet fired him because he is still performing the primary duties of that job.
