  That's not so much giving "favorable treatment to Jews" than it is "giving favorable treatment to Zionists". Not all of us Jews are Zionists (some of the biggest anti-Zionist demographics in the US are young Jews), and there are twice as many Christian Zionists in the US as there are there are Jews in the world. If you're only protecting and listening to a subset of Jews while casting out the others based on what you think Jews should be you're no "protector of the Jews", period. If anything, you're antisemitic (not you personally, Stephen T. Stone, but the impersonal "you").

  When people don’t like something in the Constitution, they should get it amended, instead of having the courts “cosplay” their way around it.

  Does that apply to Trump v. Anderson? Because The SCOTUS had to ignore the literal text of the 14th amendment in order to come to their decision.

  The other part of the document claims that it was done based on the “policy” of the US to fight antisemitism and to protect Jews, but fuck that as well. It’s clearly bullshit. This is the same administration that has said the Naval Academy library had to remove books about the Holocaust, while leaving Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf on the shelves. This is the same administration that hired into a top position someone with a long history of blatantly antisemitic conspiracy theories popular in neo-Nazi circles. This administration’s claims of fighting antisemitism appear to be pretty antisemitic itself, using false claims of wanting to “protect” Jews to actually make Jews targets of more hatred.

  Not to mention that–as Qasim Rashid pointed out–Trump pardoned the January-sixer who wore a "Camp Auschwitz" t-shirt and who attempted to kill Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi. It doesn't seem like Trump is trying to defend us Jews but silence dissent on a state as fascist, genocidal, and authoritarian as he wants to make the US (and is succeeding at it, unfortunately).

  Exactly. I'm both trans and gay, and from what I know about the Bible (both the Hebrew Tanakh and the Christian Bible), is that

  1. there are 6 to 8 genders in the talmud (more intersex than trans, but the "Saris Adam" gender can be interpreted as a transgender woman. Besides, not even the Jewish sages of antiquity limited themselves to only two genders.
  2. in the Christian bible, Jesus said nothing about being gay, but said a lot about how one treats the poor (like the whole camel-through-an-eye-of-a-needle thing).

  With some exceptions (such as the Quakers and the United Church of Christ), too much of Christianity today is white supremacy in Jesus' robes.

  I was also introduced to A.R. Moxon, and then I purchased his book, Very Fine People, which I finished and then gave to a former work colleague of mine who is also a bookworm, which she exchanges for cookies at this delicious bakery nearby called One Girl Cookies! I'd say it's a fair trade, as she gets new reading material, I find a new home for a book I already read, and I get cookies! For me, it's a win/win!
