I'm not a console gamer either (unless you count the Nintendo Switch). The PC and the Steam Deck have all the games I need, in addition to Nintendo's exclusives on the Switch. Also, I have a playdate which I play occasionally. It's like the Nintendo Wii in that it's behind the times in terms of specs, but it makes up for it with a control scheme gimmick which unlocks new gameplay styles.
Some of my chiptunes are ROMs and formats which are compatible with emulators for NES and the Super NES, so I'm really grateful for the emulation community. It just shows you that emulation isn't just for piracy!
A space sex worker is an honest gig, which is what the complete opposite of what Gina Carano is doing with her frivolous and Quixotic lawsuit.
FUCK YOU Gina Carano, and FUCK YOU Elon Musk! You're making me like Disney and I hate that you're doing that to me!
Agreed. I've bought and played Sony Playstation "exclusives" such as Marvel's Spider-Man, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart, and God of War (which I have yet to start playing) and I hadn't bought a PS4 or PS5. I don't need to do so now.
I wouldn't be in the chiptune scene without the internet, I wouldn't make money without websites such as bandcamp, distribution services such as CDBaby, song publishers such as Songtrust, and music streaming services such as Spotify.
mentally-ill biological males and females who delude themselves into believing they’re the opposite sexwhich is the complete opposite of mainstream psychological and medical expertise on transgender healthcare. Go fuck yourself, transphobe.
If I was to sign up to Bluesky I would immediately set my moderation to block all racist and misogynistic posts by white males. The joke's on you, seeing as you can set up mute-lists for that kind of thing on Bluesky! You just own-goaled your own argument!
Somebody once told me this pearl of wisdom
Real life is governed by idiots. Courtrooms are governed by idiots but they have rules involved.
Hyman, I want to thank you for doing this, because that means you're going to be thrown into various contraptions (in Bluesky-speak, that means be put on mute-lists).
have a job, or play video games, or learn a new language,What a coinkidink, these are all things I do (with the latter two being hobbies of mine!)
See, you misunderstand. The US Constitution doesn't guarantee that there must be copyrights and patents, but that Congress has the abilities to make those laws. If congress abolished copyright law and patents, that would also comply with the US constitution (but it would go against all the IP treaties we signed, so maybe not).
If the anonymous comment option were removed, I would probably end up either commenting less often or finally creating an account. But see, there are reasons to be anonymous, such as the Singaporean who criticizes his government. Do you really want to compromise that person's safety by revealing their identity? I wouldn't!
I don't get why you included Vimeo, they still exist…
Well, they did have that whole "States' rights" argument.
It used to be the opposite, where Japanese IP law was pretty much the same but there was a huge Doujin (or fan-made) culture of independent and fan games which literally violated copyright of the major AAA studios and Anime/Manga creators but they didn't sue because lawyers in Japan are soooooo expensive. I guess once © infringement became a criminal act in Japan that's when the party stopped.
They're not males. And once they take Hormone Replacement Therapy, they lose muscle mass. Also, there has never been a case where a trans woman athlete won over a cis woman athlete of equal capability. Third, this is definitely about bigotry, seeing as the outrage over trans woman competitors extends to competitions like Irish Step Dancing, Darts, and Chess (!). You just want trans women and girls not to have a public life at all.
King Crimson, you might say?
You don't like Mike Masnick's Think Tank's reports. Okay. See ya. You don't have to be here, you know.
slightly changing the subject to Netflix
Netflix also gets accused of "wokeness" alongside Disney, but it's interesting that they had a Dave Chapelle special where he was transphobic AF, and it was so successful that Netflix gave him another one where he was ableist. I mean, if Netflix is "woke", granting Chapelle two specials where he makes bigoted jokes is a very weird way of showing it. Maybe the logical conclusion is that Netflix just likes money, and same with Disney.
