  IMHO the cost of digital content, to the consumer, will go to zero. Music will end up monetized by advertising, and scarcities.
  
  There is no single model for monetizing music. Why not put together a database listing music by artist, album, and song. For each new method of monetizing add a new table. Then let the market decide what works.
