  The question that should be asked is simple. Has this killed or harmed people physically? If so terrorist attack, other wise protest. It really is as simple as that.

  Yes, I understand this is morbid.

  I am so looking forward to the time that they do this and kill someone. We are living in a connected world. A world where things like wifi connected heart monitors will happen in short order. A world where limited connectivity can mean death.
  
  Seriously we all have wifi connecting cellphones. Throttle one of those when someone is dialing 911 over wifi and dying and what is your defense? Murder by Disney.

  What I find amusing, is the first time someone footholds a first world surveillance system, and a sizable chunk of data is dumped, is the only time politicians will actually care about the issue.
  
  Then they will push for more laws against hacking, not limited surveillance.

  My personal opinion is that to many kids watched law and order. That lead to people believing that being a lawyer was easy. Which lead to to many people becoming lawyers. Which lead to all these lawsuits. All driven by the insidious plan by the content industry, to create lawyers and law suits, by creating the show law and order.

  DRM on 3D printers will not work at all. Since the idea behind 3D printers is to design, modify, and create your own designs. It would be like putting DRM on a home inkjet or laser-jet printer and requiring an external agency to authorize each print job.

  At least fourteen recent school shootings were committed by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in 109 wounded and 58 killed (in other school shootings, information about their drug use was never made public?neither confirming or refuting if they were under the influence of prescribed drugs.
  
  I think I am beginning to see a pattern here.

  If you want to look at the actual crime stats the FBI has a great resource. The tables to the right are well worth a look.

  Basically, it show most of these crimes are family on family or acquaintances. That the murder rate in the US is going down while the population is going up, and gun violence is at an "all time"? low.
