So, any business in CA needs to know, beforehand, that something someone posted or linked to or stored a copy of "might be" harmful, or "potentially" harmful to kids. I remember my first disappointment

From Gorsuch, basing his opinion on 17th Century English law re patents That MAGAt SCOTUS branch is much more willing to violate Our Constitution and precedent to pander to the country we rebelled against. The choice of a spreadsheet might well have been better. It certainly would have been cheaper. First one might suggest that maybe, just maybe a few women in the QA and development teams could elevate the discussion to reality, vs she'll be fine. At the minimum, someone that cares about the potential victims needed to be involved. Many developed systems such as this use - experienced professionals. Which would mean, cops. Male cops who never cared but they like the bonus money for their consulting time.

iPhones have < 30% of the market

How is that now a monopoly? How is it that letting others use Apple's tech for free is the desired outcome? Apple might still have the highest profit in that market. My favorite year was when Samsung posted a loss because of battery-gate; Apple's % that year, was 104% of the profit. Perfection. People pay more for Apple products. Always have. Paying those prices for wannabe AppleCorps, nobody does that. Nobody will. Because they aren't as good a product as iPhone.

Conservatives always reaching for the past

I remember the 60's, vividly. One of the biggest changes since the earlier decades was small town cops might not get away with everything. Granted it still sucked, weed possession was a felony charge in many states. Yet, modern(-sic) day cops are just as loose with following the law as they were back in the good-old-days. As in, not at all. With smart phones we had BLA. In the 50's Blacks and other POC were routinely disappeared. If not actually vanished they reappeared beaten nearly to death. Civil Rights came at a cost, in lives. I know those cops don't know the reality of what they clearly are longing for, they are too young. We cannot let them skate on the consequences. This is a long and bloody path we as a nation of laws cannot allow them to follow.

Here we are - again

Comcast is the reason I left cable TV to Dish. Dish, however, became nearly as expensive as Comcast. So, we left them recently. Now, Paramont+ plus some streaming is all we want. To add Comcast BACK is more than grating, the reason we left cable was Comcast. Infinite quarterly growth is a disaster for any corporate in any industry.
