It's the only place they can find whites racist enough to want to uproot their lives and live in Trump's America right now.

Unfortunately there are a lot of true believers involved, a lot of religious nutters who believe in the firmament, a lot of people who gaven't encountered a conspiracy theory they don't love, that believe that the government lies about everything, just because, the woo-y hippy types who want to believe in angels and unicorns, and of course there is a thick layer of nazis, grifters and nazi grifters, hoping to recruit and/or rob the others.

Be patient, the spyware and crypto wallet drainer on the handset won't code itself.

And then they proceeded to claim every celebrity death as evidence, even those of people pushing a hundred years old. These people are like flat earthers, desperate to be seen as right in spite of insurmountable evidence to the contrary, only a fascist made a deal with the devil for power and handed over control of public health to these amoral scumbags. None of them cares how many children will die of completely avoidable diseases as a result.

Lawfare is the continual filing of SLAPP suits, attacking corporations, journalists, celebrities and even former employees to rob them of their free speech. Lawfare is threatening to do everything in your power to make sure only your donors can strike deals that, in a world where the laws were enforced, wouldn't be allowed at all. Lawfare is turning the DOJ on anyone and everyone who hurt your feelings in some way, dragging them out to give testimony in front of dribbling wackadoos from Bumblebutt, Kentucky about Aliens, Cheese Pizza and whatever conspiracy the krokodil rotted GRUsers of 4chan have come up with. It's cute you think I'm a liberal, and that it's a gotcha. I'm a European leftist, but a pragmatic one, and you're just a moron.

  • Apr 14, 2026 @ 08:51am

Freedom of speech, y'all. The republicans really should be wary of this because if they win, there are a lot of rather vile political subreddits who will be next to be looked into as part of investigations into foreign influence campaigns should saner heads return to power.

Every state AG that isn't a complete muppet needs to do everything they can to mire this merger in as much legal quicksand as possible, and should they fail, the EU should start investigating to bog it down further. This is in nobody working in entertainment's interest, it's certainly not going to benefit audiences, the only people who will benefit will be the worst politicians and the wealth extraction class like Zaslav and his ilk.

They know AM Radio will be dead entirely within the next decade, with FM likely to follow soon after, so they're trying to find a new medlum they can dominate and speak directly to racist pensioners, because Facebook alone isn't enough.

Scams are the future of Gen AI given the people involved so they weren't that far off the mark, even if unintentionally. Altman is a crypto scammer, Google, Amazon and Facebook make billions from knowingly boosting scammy adverts and products, Twitter is all crypto scams and Nazis now and most of the companies building out AI infrastructure were involved with crypto mining in one form or another. I'm sure in a decade we'll still be hearing that it's still early and this new, positive AI use case means that will become the norm this time, even though scams dominate, they've obliterated all regulatory bodies and there's a landfill full of 'useful' AI startups that went nowhere.

  • Apr 07, 2026 @ 05:00am

I fully expect someone in the Substacker/NYT Op Ed writer class to declare 'wrong' is a slur and people should be ostracized for applying it to their work without doing a point by point breakdown of their work, including things that are completely irrelevant.

  • Apr 07, 2026 @ 03:15am

If they're trying to close a curtain, someone is about to get f-cked. Corporations and government bodies don't make things more opaque because they want to do good things, they do it because they know people will get mad if they know what is planned, and denying as many people access to laws, standards and regulations as possible will make it a whole lot easier to slash and burn.

  • Apr 06, 2026 @ 11:12am

Of course Evangelicals support him, they want the Middle East to burn to bring about the end times so white swordmouth Jesus can rapture them then fight the devil. We're dealing with a cult who claim to love humanity but view most of it dead and see no reason to sacrifice anything to make the world better for anyone as the're totally going to be taken to whites only country club heaven, even though they do no good works and dedicate more time and energy to hate than brotherly love.

And he has battered the state already, withholding everything he can because racism and has had people murdered on the street, he has no more leverage he can use to force pardons like he's trying with people found guilty over electoral crimes.

Insert snarky comment about the state and online behaviour of Bluesky Devs here.

  • Apr 03, 2026 @ 02:49pm

And once again, the question is not asked, 'Do open source projects actually want forced reinvention by AI?' The users keep saying no, the devs keep saying no for the most part, but the likes of Anthropic are determined to forcibly 'contribute' no matter what and AI boosters in management roles keep on cramming it into anything, spending untold riches gambling the likes of Mozilla's future on AI features nobody requested. I don't believe for a second AI will lead to a future without copyright, that ladder is going to be pulled up sooner rather than later, now they have gotten what they want from creators. I do believe that the people promoting it want a future without consent, where their will and financial clout means they have the final say.

It's worth noting that Aspyr are currently being sued in France for using an AI clone of the French voice actor for Lara Croft, and have been caught using AI to avoid paying actors in other markets. in those cases they have then gone on to blame rogue contractors, who so far have gone unnamed, so their claim that no AI was used should be taken with a huge heap of salt. https://www.timeextension.com/news/2025/09/aspyr-removes-ai-generated-vocals-from-tomb-raider-collection-after-voice-actor-takes-legal-action Will we get a retraction or any sort of acknowledgement should Aspyr turn out to be lying about AI use here too?

  • Apr 03, 2026 @ 02:42am

A lot of the people pushing AI are people from the crypto space who promised continually that they would solve the environmental issues soon so people needed to stop dooming over the energy use. They did not in fact solve the energy use, it is still chugging along, rolling literal coal to power the crime database, so we can be excused for not believing that many of the same players will absolutely solve the power issues this time. We're going to hear 'It's still early!' for a decade, until they get so deeply entwined into the political establishment through bribes and getting friendly candidates in place, that they will have more legal protections than literal children in places they operate.

  • Apr 02, 2026 @ 09:34am

You got what you wanted, sh*theads. You now have to own it.

  • Apr 02, 2026 @ 09:33am

People like the WSJ have been after this outcome for decades so to pretend it's bad now is utterly disingenuous. We're seeing the enablers of oligarchy getting those lifeboats in the water now so they can pretend they were never on board and can sail away with credibility, same as the MSNBC\CNN\Fox Bush era neocons.

Hey, Zuck stillmcounts as a free speech warrior, he's fighting to take away the speech rights of others. ChatGPT ways warriors fight a lot by definition so he totally counts.
