What is the Senate version of CISPA?
Hazbro is pure evil. I will never give them one cent. I will never forgive them for ruining MTGO.
On another note, this is what you get for aligning your life around collecting a line of commercial products. They will always make you regret it.
On another note, nerf? Really? Who becomes a nerf evangelist?
How did Voltage Pictures get those IP addresses?
Perhaps "ownerous" is more apropos.
What the hell is a "trademark-intensive" industry? In fact, the entire use of the word "intensive" is part of the lie. It make it sound like they go out and buy copyrights as raw material and assemble them into larger copyrights that they go back out and sell again. There's nothing intensive about any IP.
This copyright tarriff and similar proposals to charge all ISP customers a flat rate for piracy lead to the British style of paying for television. You pay an annual fee and you can copy all you want. I'm surprised to hear the collection agencies advocating for these kinds of fees.
I'd much rather report graffiti with an app than a phone call and $2 is just a funny looking coin, so what's the big deal?
There's a business opportunity here for someone to monitor privacy statements, summarize them, and mobilize against the worst of them.
There is a good opportunity for remixing video on YouTube! Write a program that takes video of politicians and puts corporate logos all over them like Nascar drivers and posts as a video response.
I don't know, but I do know NFL can block access to its app when you're at a stadium.
Hah! You're probably right! But soon enough said executive will check to see if anyone responded to his comments and then he will wander around and learn some memes and so will become a netizen anyway.
His main concern is the toll that patent trolling is taking on innovation.
You use toll figuratively but it is literal. The entire economy passes through these toll gates every day. Why do all the people who hate taxes suddenly love tolls just because they are going to private industry?
Let those maximalists use social media as much as they want. Soon they'll become netizens themselves and realize what fools they've been.
Got $10-20 million?
There's a big difference between individuals posting anecdotal information and mass media broadcasting results of exit polls. The former means nothing, whereas the latter can, in some circumstances, be accurate predictors.
You can certainly complain about the lack of due process, but The Pirate Bay was using the time delay inherent in due process to start the whack-a-mole game in the first place. So "abuse it and lose it" seems fair to me.
Isn't abuse of the legal system something that we condemned Righthaven for? I remember us applauding the judges who cut through that bullshit.
What should a musical group do if their music is about fighting materialism?

The strongest prison is the one with invisible walls that the inmates build for themselves.
