I imagine we’ve all found ourselves stuck using a butter knife as a multi-tool (screwdriver, pry-bar, oxyacetylene welding kit, etc), but… has anyone ever made dinner and opened the the kitchen utensil drawer only to find a socket set, a multimeter, some allen-wrenches, and a Dremel?

This being TD, I guess I shouldn’t ask ‘has anyone’, but rather ‘how many of you have’.

A made in USA tool set of high quality heat-treated forged steel that lasts a lifetime would be well worth even double that price, but this kind of cheap Chinese made crap that bends or breaks the first time you put it to hard use can be found (and hopefully left) at any dollar store.
