Dell To Offer At-Home Recycling Pickup

from the it's-about-time dept

For anyone has one (or more) old, useless computers sitting around at home, not knowing what to do with them, Dell has created a simple solution. For $15, they'll come pick up your old machine and recycle it. Of course, there are some who might argue that depending on how old the machine is, you could probably sell it for parts for a little more than that (though, not much), but this program actually makes a lot of sense. The fact that they'll actually pick it up for you is the biggest part, since it takes away one of the larger hurdles most people have in actually getting around to disposing of old computers.
