Spammers Suing Spammers

Virtumundo, a marketing company that has often been accused of being a spammer is trying to clean up its act and pass the blame while doing so. They’re suing two companies that sold them “opt-in” email lists, saying that the lists weren’t really opt-in. Of course, that doesn’t explain what Virtumundo was doing buying lists in the first place. If they want a list, they should build their own damn opt-in system.
