Instant Messaging At Work
from the growing-popularity dept
To be honest, I didn’t find instant messaging all that useful until I started using it at work, but it seems that the path went in the opposite direction for many people. Now that it’s become very popular for home use, instant messaging is gaining ground at the office. They also point out that nearly 30% of people have more than one IM service. It’s been a travesty for many years that the various services don’t talk to each other and it continues to get more annoying all the time.
