Did Microsoft Skip Kindergarten?

from the a-few-simple-rules dept

A very amusing article over at Motley Fool discussing some very basic kindergarten-type rules and cliches that Microsoft should have followed. If Microsoft had simply remembered that they “can’t have their cake and eat it too” as well as “honesty is the best policy” they might not be in the mess they’re in today.

poor MS.......

This is a bummer, but when they broke up a HUGE telecom company [unnamed], they now have major monolopy over smaller areas. Local phone companies, say USWest [shudder], when I lived in denver [yuck] I was unable to order ANY other telco, lame. They charged me 60$ to move across the street. I asked them not to charge me, since I truely was moving about 150 yards. I said that I was a faithful customer, and paid my bills. Bob the supervisor [esclated it] would not hear of it. I asked him to charge me 1000$ to move, since there was not a thing I could do about it. I told him you [company] are a monolopy, and whatever you say I have to pay. Insane. Monolopy, but….hmm, we accept that…but not MS.
