The UK Wants Their News the Old Fashioned Way

from the what-good-is-the-internet? dept

A survey in Great Britain shows that 83% of people say they’d never switch to the internet as their major source of news gathering. This strikes me as a bit odd, and there’s no information on how the study was conducted. Also, I realize it’s a single data point, but Techdirt has a fairly large UK readership. Of course, I doubt any of them are using Techdirt as their main source of news (at least I hope not), but it still suggests that the web is being used for news gathering.
