MP3Board Offers LinkBlaster to Protect Copyrights

from the that's-one-way-to-do-it dept

MP3Board has launched a new service for its site that it believes will help solve copyright problems. The service, called LinkBlaster, will allow copyright holders to sign up, review links to their songs, and “blast” them, if they chose. It also allows whoever posted those links to counter and say the link isn’t a copyright infringement. I wonder how they get the copyright holder to prove they are who they say they are. I also wonder if this will work at all. It will be interesting to see what happens.
