The Bug: The Postmodern Prometheus

from the still-sounds-great dept

Last month we ran a review and an excerpt from Ellen Ullman’s new book, The Bug, which (believe it or not) sounds like an absolutely fascinating novel about a computer bug, and how programmers deal with it. Now, here’s another interesting review of the book (though, the seem to have forgotten how to add paragraph markers in this review – making it, at times, difficult to read). This review suggests just how “dark” the book is – which the reviewer compares to a modern-day Frankenstein – but still suggests that it’s very true to life.
