Daily Deal: Fusion C Mini PC
from the good-deals-on-cool-stuff dept
The Fusion C is here, and it’s ready to replace your bulky desktop tower PC. Not much bigger than a small cigar box, the Fusion C comes loaded with a built-in Intel quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a pre-installed version of Windows 10 Home to make getting through your daily to-dos a breeze. Taking the Fusion C to go is as simple as unplugging your power cable and monitor. And while the Fusion C is small, it’s big on connectivity, with HDMI, VGA, LAN, three USB 2.0 ports and a Micro-SD card slot built in. It’s on sale for $160.95.

Is this a joke?
2 gigs of memory? My browser on win 10 right now with 2 tabs open is already using 2.4 gigs of ram. So with this PC, you would be limited to one application running at one time, with a lot of disk to memory swapping for anything that is somewhat memory intensive. That might have been fine if you were running Win XP, but with any modern OS, you would need at least 4 gigs minimum and preferably 8 if not 16. I do have an older computer with 2 gigs of ram running Ubuntu and i am limited to one application at a time and Ubuntu isn’t resource intensive at Win 10.

It’s basically only good for streaming and most browsing. As long as that CPU supports all current DRM features.
RAM?
I assume the RAM is not upgradeable replaceable?
Will it do 4K/
