Breakfast is supposedly the more important meal of the day. But does it matter what you eat for breakfast? There are plenty of incredibly unhealthy-sounding breakfast menus, but people are always coming up with even more outrageous breakfast items. Here are just a few examples of how kids can start their day.

Free breakfast

The free breakfast at McDonald’s was driven by the fact that a full belly leads to less distractions, and thus better scores. It was pushed mainly for low income families that might have to send hungry kids to school just because they don’t have a lot of food in the house, so at the base of it was a core of good intent.
