Plenty of eBay users have stories about situations when they clashed with someone at the other end of a transaction, whether it was over the terms, something misleading in the description or some other point. However, it appears that some eBay buyers have come across an amazingly angry eBay seller — who seemed to turn nasty with no provocation at all. When potential buyers emailed him with questions, he turned around and sent them incredibly angry and threatening emails, and then started calling and harassing the buyers (who apparently left their phone numbers). The threatened buyers complained to the police, who did nothing, but a news organization tracked down the guy who claimed that if he got upset at potential buyers, it was only because they threatened him first. While it may not reach the level of showing up at an eBay seller’s house with a gun, it’s worth remembering that you never quite know who you’re dealing with at the other end of an online transaction.

On July 16th, 2005 Dwayne Schimke, ebay user ‘Turnedtwo’ contacted me about a bike I was selling on eBay. He emailed saying that he wanted to come to my home and pick up the bike. I have clearly stated in all of my auctions that I do not allow people to pick up items. He admits himself that he ‘didn’t read the whole auction’ After a few emails were exchanged I told him I had blocked him from bidding, and asked him not to email me anymore. He was offended that I forbid him to bid on my auction, and continued to email me several more times after I had asked him to stop emailing me. Then I called his home, I used some choice words and told him to stop emailing me.
After that, he did not email me anymore and I did not email him or call him anymore. I thought this was the end of it. Then a few months later Bret Shipp from WFAA shows up at my home and starts asking questions about the confrontation and about Cindy
Burleson.
Once I heard the name Cindy Burleson, it became clear why the reporter was there.
Cindy Burleson and Lisa Taylor have been harassing me and my family for almost two years now. She goes by eBay user IDs : lavinder17@hotmail.com , fireyredhead1960, cindysilver2004, curtain_climbers, officerfredfw
They have done everything they can think of to ruin my business, my reputation, and basically my life. They have accused me of anything they could think of, and have reported me to anyone they could come up with in an attempt to reek some sort of revenge against me and have me kicked off of eBay.
I was first contacted by Cindy Burleson in Feb. 2004. She had won one of my auctions for $1.50. She told me she was going to my house and pick up the item. I told her I do not let anyone from the internet come to my house. She insisted that she knew where I lived, and she was going to come over. She got really mad that I refused to allow her in my home. She began accusing me of bidding on my own auctions. The auction had started for $1, so she was accusing me of committing fraud to gain 50 cents ! She reported this to eBay, and emailed my customers with this ridiculous claim.
She then started calling me, and emailing obsessively, then she got her daughter, her boyfriend, and her friends to email me. I have received well over 1,000 emails from her and her friends/family. I got over 500 from them in one day alone. I did call her quite a few times to try to get her to stop, I threatened legal action, she just kept emailing and calling. I gave up, and stopped responding to her harassment in February 2004 and changed my phone number to stop her calls. That is when the real horror began. She is on a mission to do everything she can to effect my life, my business, and my family.
She took one of my emails to her and changed it to say that I was coming to kill her. She sent it to eBay so that they would cancel my account. I had a copy of the original email with the time, date, and ID numbers. I was able to prove to eBay that I did not do this, and they eventually reinstated my account. Meanwhile I was suspended for 30 days with no income because of this lie.
After all of these false allegations from Cindy and her daughter I began to suspect they were the ones up to no good on eBay, so I started to research her accounts and I found out Cindy would list items (such as Tiffany jewelry) and Lisa would bid against other bidders on the items to drive the price up! She had accused me of this when her and her daughter were the ones really doing it ! I showed eBay and eBay suspended the accounts. Neither Cindy Burleson or Lisa Taylor have been allowed on eBay since that time.
Cindy and Lisa both knew it was me who reported them and it only fueled their hatred towards me. Needless to say the story did not end there.
She handed out my home address and phone number to everyone she knows. They then started calling and driving by my house (then would call and/or email to say they had driven by) I filed a police report with the Johnson County Sheriff after they came by late one night in May 2004. I thought it would end after that but the worst was yet to come.
The 10news story states I was arrested for “harassment” and shows the mug shot from that ‘most recent’ arrest. The only reason I was arrested for harassment was because on 3-15-2004 Cindy Burleson filed a false police report against me with the Grand Prairie Texas police department. Apparently her story did not hold water, so action was not taken by the police. The following week 3-22-2004, Lisa goes back to Grand Prairie Texas police department and tells them a different story (someone must have told them their first report did not do it and what they would have to say in order for the Grand Prairie police to take action). A warrant was issued for me after the second report. I obtained copies of the 2 conflicting police reports and there is absolutely no mention of any ‘death threat’ in either of the 2 reports. In fact the reports say I had called 5 times, not the 30-40 she is claiming now. The strangest part of the 2 conflicting reports is that they were both taken by the same police officer. This is a matter of public record and can be verified by anyone through the Grand Prairie Police Department.
Now I ask you, if you were the police officer who took the initial report and knew full well it was false, why would you accept a second report with a different story from the same 2 people and allow them to use different names and addresses, but the same phone numbers ? Not to mention the fact that neither Cindy, her daughter, nor I resided in or around Grand Prairie at all.
Bret Shipp of WFAA was advised of all of this, but he made absolutely no mention of these facts I provided him with in the story they did on me. I guess the truth did not make for a ‘juicy’ story in Bret’s eyes.
I had no idea I even had a warrant for this until the night I was pulled over in my hometown of Cleburne a couple days after Christmas. I spent 5 days (including New Years Eve!) in jail before I could come up with the $5,000 bond they put on me ! Once the DA looked into the matter my bond was refunded in full and no charges were filed. I still spent 5 days in jail because of this woman’s lies !
She has continued to harass me and my family. She said that she has been ‘terrorized’ but I have not emailed, called or initiated any contact with her since Feb. 2004. She and her daughter have continued this for almost 2 years now. Every so often I get some kind of strange email message from her. She tells me she likes my house, my car, my truck, and my wife. She has sent emails to my wife stating she has had sex with me in an effort to have my wife think I cheated on her. Both her and her daughter send me emails asking if I am having a nice day and that they love me, stuff like hugs and kisses and such. She even ran a criminal background check on me, got all of my personal information, then emailed to tell me she had this information. She emailed me in July 2005 saying she had driven by my house and saw me smoking in the front yard. She told me how ‘white trash’ she thought that was.
Now I ask you, if someone is harassing and ‘terrorizing’ you, why on earth would you be emailing them to antagonize them and drive by their home which is more than an hour away?
Cindy was frustrated that I was not responding to her emails and phone calls and proceeded to involve the Media and tell them the same bogus story she told eBay about me threatening her life. In fact, I found out about this whole ‘Ebay Bully’ story from HER!! She emailed me to show me what she had done.
After the 10news story aired I started receiving many emails from irate eBay users cussing me out left and right. I was lead into numerous chat forums and discussion boards which were discussing this ‘Ebay Bully’ story and even going as far as posting satellite images of my neighborhood and specifically pointing out my house on the image! Then eBay canceled my accounts telling me I had become a “legal liability” to them, and they could not allow me to conduct business on their site. This entire ordeal has become an ongoing nightmare from which I cannot seem to wake up.
I am an honest small business owner, just trying to make a living and take care of my home and family. I have been selling on eBay for 7 years. I have 1000’s of happy customers. It is unfortunate that I have lost my sole source of income due to a couple of persistent people with nothing better to do than to come up with ways to destroy my life. I now have been put out of business, and have no way to support myself or my family.
I have suffered loss of wages, false imprisonment, harassment, defamation of character, and now public humiliation at the hands of Cindy and her clan. I honestly cannot believe something like this could happen over a $1.50 auction. If it had not happened to me I still would not believe it.
The scariest part of this whole ordeal is that I have come to realize that Cindy Burleson is not going to stop. She is obsessed with me, and has made it her life’s mission to harass me and my family. If it happened to me, it could happen to anyone out there.

The only thing I did wrong was allowing these liars to get to me. Tina is only defending her husband (and I can respect that), but he knows who started it and I can prove it to anyone by the emails he sent. I am sure Dwayne did not tell Tina about the emails he sent and probably erased them to cover his tracks, but I have those emails with full headers showing they orginated from the Schminke’s computer. This can be verified through their ISP to be authentic.

I have showed the police these emails from her and they realize what she is doing is against the law. It is only a matter of time before their investigation discovers who is the real ‘crazy’ one here.

I spent my Thanksgiving alone. This entire ordeal is really starting to get to me. I have no income now due to ebay kicking me off and the lawyer wants $5,000.00 to handle the case. I spent the entire day cleaning my truck as I will now have to sell it to make ends meet and to pay the attorney. What everyone fails to realize is that I supported myself and my family on ebay. I have basically had the floor fall out from under me. I have all this money invested in merchandise I can only sell on ebay and now ebay has kicked me off over this story. I have a baby to feed, bills to pay, and the almighty mortgage payment. I don’t know how much longer I can keep my head above water.

Frank may be well spoken but his story has major gaps in it pointing to one of 2 things, he’s a liar or he lacks common sense. First, if someone is harassed as much as he says over a 2 year period, any sensible person would have taken some more definitive action through the law awhile ago (as Cindy has done…not Frank). There is simply no reason to wait this long if he was receiving repeated calls & emails that he feels were threatening in nature.
Second, the suspension of an eBay account doesn’t cripple you to the point of selling off your truck and/or other possessions to get some income. eBay is not the only auction site out there, and there was even 1 mentioned above. If this (online sales/auctions) is your sole business, you should be fully aware of other avenues to market that business other than eBay. You may not generate the sales you do with eBay on any individual site, but you shouldn’t have a problem surviving by branching your business over a few sites.
Lastly, the emails he provided as ‘proof’ are laughable at best. Dwayne replied with ‘he he he!!’, but what he replied to was not included by Frank. While this text laugh may be evil in this context, I find it hard to believe…maybe if it was a more sinister ‘Mwahaha!!’ The email by Cindy does not aid in backing up Frank’s story. Nowhere does it indicate that she actually drives by his house. For all we know, Frank told Cindy that he was smoking on his porch in one of his messages.
I’m sure that all parties involved in this aren’t the exact angels they wish to be regarded, but by far, Frank has said the most. By doing this, he has shown some gaping wholes in his claim to be the victim of this whole ordeal.

I agree. This guy was only telling his story when he got put on the news. If he was so worried about his safety why did he wait until the news did the report to say something or do something about it. I saw the report, I heard the tapes, this guy was loosing it. I have read some of the entries he has made on other sites. I have not seen anything rude from the people who turned him in. It is appearent who is the violent person here. He writes pages and pages of trash and the other parties stay calm. If Frank was scared why has he done nothing, he says he was arrested last New Years, and he has done nothing about it. Maybe the police think there is nothing in his claims. The email from Cindy shows frustration. Doesn’t show she is a Jesus Freak. That is stupid. Maybe Jesus would be a good thing for Frank to find then he could find forgivness in his heart instead of bitterness. Frank there are ways to find peace, maybe you should think about it. Common Sense,
#1 – I took action and made police reports, but with no name to provide the police with, the investigation was pretty much at a stand still. Once I had Cindy’s real name and her daughters real name I was able to provide this proof to the police and they are now fully aware of the things Cindy has done. The police department has also seen all of the emails I got from Cindy and her clan as well.
#2 – I have thousands of dollars invested in merchandise I purchased strictly to sell on ebay. I have done online auctions for years and have tried all of them, the items I sell on ebay sell with success and simply do not sell at all on other sites. I would simply lose more money in listing fees on auctions where my items will not sell.
#3 – Dwayne’s “he, he, he” reply was after I told him we would not be doing business and for him to stop emailing me. The email from Cindy is more to prove that she is in fact emailing me that far after the fact. Whether it proves she drove by or not, it does prove she is still attempting to contact me almost 2 years after the initial confrontation. I have NEVER replied to her emails after the initial confrontation, yet she has continued to randomly email me over a 2 year span. If you claimed harassment by someone, why try to attempt to continue to contact them ????
I never said I was an “exact angel”. I told everyone I cussed out Cindy, but only after telling her repeatedly to leave me alone. She involved her daughter in this, not me. I lost it after so much badgering and instigating, who wouldn’t ? The same for Dwayne, I told him to stop emailing me, I told him we would not be doing business together, he chose to antagonize me, yet I am the bad guy because I can only take so much badgering, instigating, and antagonizing. I am the bad guy because I did not want strangers in my home or near my family.
I am not a liar and I have enough common sense to know when I am being railroaded.

ok, Frank, i just want to say that i feel sorry for you. I’ve studied people in my spare time for quite awhile now, and i have discovered very interesting things, such as, personality traits are viewable in not only their speech, but also their txt. with that being said, Frank, IF you are the crazy one here, for there is certainly one of you off your rocker, then dear sir, you hide it very well. You know, this article/thread makes a really good case for using public key encryption such as GnuPG to sign all of your e-mail–particularly if you are conducting business transactions.
Sure, someone could whip up fake e-mails (obviously without a signature) and claim they were from you. However, establishing a pattern of always signing your e-mail would tend to diminish the credibility of the fake mail.
There are a number of front-ends & plugins that are available to make this easy to apply. The Thunderbird e-mail client immediately comes to mind…
A little late for the parties involved in this dispute but maybe a bit of a precautionary tip for the rest of us…

I have clearly stated in all of my auctions that I do not allow people to pick up items. He admits himself that he ‘didn’t read the whole auction’ After a few emails were exchanged I told him I had blocked him from bidding, and asked him not to email me anymore. I told her I do not let anyone from the internet come to my house. She insisted that she knew where I lived, and she was going to come over. She got really mad that I refused to allow her in my home. She began accusing me of bidding on my own auctions. The auction had started for $1, so she was accusing me of committing fraud to gain 50 cents ! She reported this to eBay, and emailed my customers with this ridiculous claim.
She then started calling me, and emailing obsessively, then she got her daughter, her boyfriend, and her friends to email me. I have received well over 1,000 emails from her and her friends/family. I got over 500 from them in one day alone. I did call her quite a few times to try to get her to stop, I threatened legal action, she just kept emailing and calling. I gave up, and stopped responding to her harassment in February 2004 and changed my phone number to stop her calls. That is when the real horror began. She is on a mission to do everything she can to effect my life, my business, and my family.

She had accused me of this when her and her daughter were the ones really doing it ! I showed eBay and eBay suspended the accounts. The only reason I was arrested for harassment was because on 3-15-2004 Cindy Burleson filed a false police report against me with the Grand Prairie Texas police department. Apparently her story did not hold water, so action was not taken by the police. The following week 3-22-2004, Lisa goes back to Grand Prairie Texas police department and tells them a different story (someone must have told them their first report did not do it and what they would have to say in order for the Grand Prairie police to take action). A warrant was issued for me after the second report. I obtained copies of the 2 conflicting police reports and there is absolutely no mention of any ‘death threat’ in either of the 2 reports. In fact the reports say I had called 5 times, not the 30-40 she is claiming now. The strangest part of the 2 conflicting reports is that they were both taken by the same police officer. This is a matter of public record and can be verified by anyone through the Grand Prairie Police Department.
Now I ask you, if you were the police officer who took the initial report and knew full well it was false, why would you accept a second report with a different story from the same 2 people and allow them to use different names and addresses, but the same phone numbers ? Not to mention the fact that neither Cindy, her daughter, nor I resided in or around Grand Prairie at all.

I spent 5 days (including New Years Eve!) in jail before I could come up with the $5,000 bond they put on me ! She even ran a criminal background check on me, got all of my personal information, then emailed to tell me she had this information. She emailed me in July 2005 saying she had driven by my house and saw me smoking in the front yard. She told me how ‘white trash’ she thought that was.

After the 10news story aired I started receiving many emails from irate eBay users cussing me out left and right. I was lead into numerous chat forums and discussion boards which were discussing this ‘Ebay Bully’ story and even going as far as posting satellite images of my neighborhood and specifically pointing out my house on the image! Then eBay canceled my accounts telling me I had become a “legal liability” to them, and they could not allow me to conduct business on their site. This entire ordeal has become an ongoing nightmare from which I cannot seem to wake up.
I am an honest small business owner, just trying to make a living and take care of my home and family. I have been selling on eBay for 7 years. I have 1000’s of happy customers. It is unfortunate that I have lost my sole source of income due to a couple of persistent people with nothing better to do than to come up with ways to destroy my life. I now have been put out of business, and have no way to support myself or my family.
I have suffered loss of wages, false imprisonment, harassment, defamation of character, and now public humiliation at the hands of Cindy and her clan. I honestly cannot believe something like this could happen over a $1.50 auction. If it had not happened to me I still would not believe it.

I got over 500 from them in one day alone. I did call her quite a few times to try to get her to stop, I threatened legal action, she just kept emailing and calling. I gave up, and stopped responding to her harassment in February 2004 and changed my phone number to stop her calls. That is when the real horror began. She is on a mission to do everything she can to effect my life, my business, and my family.
She took one of my emails to her and changed it to say that I was coming to kill her. She sent it to eBay so that they would cancel my account. I had a copy of the original email with the time, date, and ID numbers. I was able to prove to eBay that I did not do this, and they eventually reinstated my account. Meanwhile I was suspended for 30 days with no income because of this lie.
After all of these false allegations from Cindy and her daughter I began to suspect they were the ones up to no good on eBay, so I started to research her accounts and I found out Cindy would list items (such as Tiffany jewelry) and Lisa would bid against other bidders on the items to drive the price up! She had accused me of this when her and her daughter were the ones really doing it ! I showed eBay and eBay suspended the accounts. Neither Cindy Burleson or Lisa Taylor have been allowed on eBay since that time.
Cindy and Lisa both knew it was me who reported them and it only fueled their hatred towards me. Needless to say the story did not end there.
She handed out my home address and phone number to everyone she knows. They then started calling and driving by my house (then would call and/or email to say they had driven by) I filed a police report with the Johnson County Sheriff after they came by late one night in May 2004. I thought it would end after that but the worst was yet to come.
The 10news story states I was arrested for “harassment” and shows the mug shot from that ‘most recent’ arrest. The only reason I was arrested for harassment was because on 3-15-2004 Cindy Burleson filed a false police report against me with the Grand Prairie Texas police department. Apparently her story did not hold water, so action was not taken by the police. The following week 3-22-2004, Lisa goes back to Grand Prairie Texas police department and tells them a different story (someone must have told them their first report did not do it and what they would have to say in order for the Grand Prairie police to take action). A warrant was issued for me after the second report. I obtained copies of the 2 conflicting police reports and there is absolutely no mention of any ‘death threat’ in either of the 2 reports. In fact the reports say I had called 5 times, not the 30-40 she is claiming now. The strangest part of the 2 conflicting reports is that they were both taken by the same police officer. This is a matter of public record and can be verified by anyone through the Grand Prairie Police Department.
Now I ask you, if you were the police officer who took the initial report and knew full well it was false, why would you accept a second report with a different story from the same 2 people and allow them to use different names and addresses, but the same phone numbers ? Not to mention the fact that neither Cindy, her daughter, nor I resided in or around Grand Prairie at all.
Bret Shipp of WFAA was advised of all of this, but he made absolutely no mention of these facts I provided him with in the story they did on me. I guess the truth did not make for a ‘juicy’ story in Bret’s eyes.
I had no idea I even had a warrant for this until the night I was pulled over in my hometown of Cleburne a couple days after Christmas. I spent 5 days (including New Years Eve!) in jail before I could come up with the $5,000 bond they put on me ! Once the DA looked into the matter my bond was refunded in full and no charges were filed. I still spent 5 days in jail because of this woman’s lies !
She has continued to harass me and my family. She said that she has been ‘terrorized’ but I have not emailed, called or initiated any contact with her since Feb. 2004. She and her daughter have continued this for almost 2 years now. Every so often I get some kind of strange email message from her. She tells me she likes my house, my car, my truck, and my wife. She has sent emails to my wife stating she has had sex with me in an effort to have my wife think I cheated on her. Both her and her daughter send me emails asking if I am having a nice day and that they love me, stuff like hugs and kisses and such. She even ran a criminal background check on me, got all of my personal information, then emailed to tell me she had this information. She emailed me in July 2005 saying she had driven by my house and saw me smoking in the front yard. She told me how ‘white trash’ she thought that was.
Now I ask you, if someone is harassing and ‘terrorizing’ you, why on earth would you be emailing them to antagonize them and drive by their home which is more than an hour away?
Cindy was frustrated that I was not responding to her emails and phone calls and proceeded to involve the Media and tell them the same bogus story she told eBay about me threatening her life. In fact, I found out about this whole ‘Ebay Bully’ story from HER!! She emailed me to show me what she had done.
After the 10news story aired I started receiving many emails from irate eBay users cussing me out left and right. I was lead into numerous chat forums and discussion boards which were discussing this ‘Ebay Bully’ story and even going as far as posting satellite images of my neighborhood and specifically pointing out my house on the image! Then eBay canceled my accounts telling me I had become a “legal liability” to them, and they could not allow me to conduct business on their site. This entire ordeal has become an ongoing nightmare from which I cannot seem to wake up.
I am an honest small business owner, just trying to make a living and take care of my home and family. I have been selling on eBay for 7 years. I have 1000’s of happy customers. It is unfortunate that I have lost my sole source of income due to a couple of persistent people with nothing better to do than to come up with ways to destroy my life. I now have been put out of business, and have no way to support myself or my family.
I have suffered loss of wages, false imprisonment, harassment, defamation of character, and now public humiliation at the hands of Cindy and her clan. I honestly cannot believe something like this could happen over a $1.50 auction. If it had not happened to me I still would not believe it.
The scariest part of this whole ordeal is that I have come to realize that Cindy Burleson is not going to stop. She is obsessed with me, and has made it her life’s mission to harass me and my family. If it happened to me, it could happen to anyone out there.

As far as my grammar goes it’s a matter of perception. The English we learned here is different from the American English. So on March 29th I purchased my cool vase from OpOrb.com, or I thought I did. Realizing my paypal account was still linked to my interact account, I quickly went to the seller’s website and looked for some contact information. Not finding any, I used their online form and sent them an email stating that the email Paypal was linked to was no longer active, please send correspondence to my other email address.
Few days later… no response.
So I sent another email, now a week later.. Hey, I haven’t heard anything from you, I never recieved any confirmation emails, please respond to me or I will be forced to report you to paypal.
Another few days passes…
So now I’m mad. I look up the domain on whois, get the email contact and phone number. On 4/13 I send yet another email to the seller through the ‘kal@o-scope.com’ email listed on the whois record. I also attempt to call the contact number on the whois record only to find it had been disconnected.
I wait another few days.. ok.. You had three weeks and never contacted me once.. never.. you’re done.
So I report them to paypal, get my 40 back and they leave a nasty note about the fact that they had to ship to a PO Box so they don’t have records to show the shipment but when they do they will be sure to send me an invoice for the merchandise.

I am sorry that our transaction had to come to this. Had only you responded a single one of my emails asking for a status, I would have never requested a refund through paypal. I had no confirmation of payment, no confirmation you had recieved my order, no shipping details, no phone number, no email address, nothing. Just a form on your website which you don’t seem to answer.
In my paypal transaction, I specifically stated that if you were shipping to USPS to ship to the PO box, but any other carrier to ship to 9 Tamara Dr., Roosevelt NJ. If you wanted to use DHL so it would show on your statements, you simply had to ship it to the other address. Please do not blame the fact that I have a PO box on the fact that you never responded to a single email. The lack of any response from you is why I initated a fraud complaint,not because the merchandise hadn’t shown up yet.
If you package does ever show up, although I don’t know when it would because I have no details on the shipment at all, I’ll be sure to refuse the package so you get your merchandise back. I’ve already purchased a similar vase somewhere else for half the price and no longer want your merchandise.

First of all, how can you claim to run a business and talk like that to customers? Is this how you react at every transaction that goes badly?
Secondly, SMTP provides no provision for if email is read or displayed, and emails won’t hold up in a court of law because they are too easily spoofed.
Thirdly, perhaps you should check the “Contact Us” form on your website because if you never received any of my emails, then perhaps your form isn’t working properly, in which case, you may have the same problem with future transactions.
Fourthly, you should update your phone number and contact email on your whois record for your domain name, because I also attempted to contact you through your kal@o-scope.com email address and tried to call you but the number had been disconnected.
Lastly, perhaps you should see a psychiatrist and get yourself on some anti-depressants, it’s obvious by this email that you have serious mental problems.

However, it appears that some eBay buyers have come across an amazingly angry eBay seller — who seemed to turn nasty with no provocation at all. When potential buyers emailed him with questions, he turned around and sent them incredibly angry and threatening emails, and then started calling and harassing the buyers (who apparently left their phone numbers). The threatened buyers complained to the police, who did nothing, but a news organization tracked down the guy who claimed that if he got upset at potential buyers, it was only because they threatened him first. While it may not reach the level of showing up at an eBay seller’s house with a gun, it’s worth remembering that you never quite know who you’re dealing with at the other end of an online transaction.

Bob, you should realize that something like this can easily happen to you as well, so you should think more about what you are saying here.
I hope nothing like this ever happens to you, but in a way I sort of hope it will so you can understand what is going on here. I have been tormented and harassed for almost 2 years by these 2 nuts. I now get the feeling you are probably friends or associates of these 2 by the way you are defending their actions.

I listed a book for sale in ebay. Without a problem they listed the book and now, ebay is asking for money and charging 15% late fee per month. I am trying to contact them and they dont have phone contact. they expect me to just pay because they want money. If they charge money then in the first pleace why did they list without collecting the money. It is ebays problem or bug in the system.

Uhhh…. if you list something you have to pay for it, even if it doesn’t sell. On the page you used to list the book, the very last thing they show you is the “listing fee”. Just pay the bill and move on. What is it anyhow, $3? Wow, I thought I was a chpsk8!

Uhhh…$3.00 or $300.00… so what..? I’m just wondering why a company that deals with the public can’t be contacted by telephone. Try getting Paypal on the horn when they screw u around. People should be raising hell over that. But no one cares so long as their ox aint being gored. God, I love humanity.

Check out eBid (http://us.ebid.net). No listing fee. No reserve fee. Lower selling fee than eBay. Not as many listings yet as eBay but it’s sure to grow as more and more people get fed up with eBay ripping them off.

It’s easy to get the corporate headquarters number for a public corporation. For ebay, check out Yahoo’s ebay profile. I’m sure the operator there will be able to direct your call to the appropriate department.

I think everybody’s nuts. No “innocent victim” is going to put up with any amount of harrassment that was described unless they were enjoying it.
You know what else? Both of the initial circumstances are completely ridiculous.
1) Crazy woman devotes 2 years of her life to harass an eBay seller because he won’t let her come over.
2) Crazy man phones eBay buyer swearing because.. Well, because he’s angry.
That’s crap. Both of you.
Someone come out with the truth. You look a lot more honourable when you’re honest and imperfect than when you’re lying.

I got suspended for no reason as well. Tried everything. 6 weeks later, no results. Called. Faxed. Emailed. Snail mailed. Nothing. Countless hours wasted. Then I came across another post here that talked about how ebay suspended people and told how to fix it and it worked. Check it out.

I completely agree with you Brother From Canada, and wish you a speedy recovery Frank.
All these (bar one) anti-Frank characters do have very similar traits in their line of communication which makes me suspect they are sock-puppets and friends of the original offenders.
I’ve recently had a dispute with another user on ebay and regret that I allowed them to upset me enough that I did swear at them in one reply because they were clearly ripping me off and lying to me (can be proven). I have since received NUMEROUS threats of a violent and sexual nature (they have my home address and phone number and MY money). Wow! So I swore a couple of times through sheer frustration and deserve to have my very life threatened?
Just because Frank lost his cool with these plebeians and used a few swear words does not in any way prove that he is the villain.

Also, it wouldn’t be the first time the police have been used by an angry manipulative petty harridan as a tool for her own vicious revenge!
I know people that will deliberately wind their victim up just to get them to retaliate and WOO-HOO … the poor bugger finds they’ve taped the conversation and used it in evidence against him. The taped conversation proves nothing when used out of context with the entire history of phonecalls from both parties.
If Frank was the manipulator and serial abuser in this ridiculous charade – surely he’d have been experienced enough to record his own telephone conversations or at least to watch his language. Anyway – the truth will come out when the phone-call logs are made public. Everyone will be able to see who called who, how many times they called, how long the calls lasted etc.
I hope you can afford to sue these cheap trashy people asap Frank. If you are still trying to find the money – I’d be able to make a very small donation…. maybe you should set up a fund? I’m sure you’d gain many supporters.

Immature cartoons.
Both this Cindy Burleson and Schimke characters appear to be immature or vindictive cartoons, from the way they’ve responded in this site. From what I see here, Esquitin’s behaviour appears to be the more rational and sane of the lot, considering what he’s gone through, if it is really as he claims. If I were in his shoes, I’d have taken that pump action shotgun lying in my basement and had it out with this Cindy bitch and that other chick.
wow that’s scary, as far as the phone calls I’d imagine you could call the phone company and have that stopped. With all the nuts in the world now showing up with a gun might not be that far off, if anything i’m surprised some crazed seller hasn’t showed up at ebay’s door for all there fee hikes and policy changes.
Frank did indeed call our home over 30 times. I remember everything that happened to cause all of this bullshit. I asked my mom if we could bid on some worthless comic books and without looking at the shipping (bad mistake) we bid on them.
When we found out the price of shipping my mom asked if we could meet up somewhere and pick the comic books up. I don’t know what Frank’s deal was but he was guilty. I blame myself for all of this mess for even bidding on those shitty ass comics.
