California Mobile Phone Users' Bill Of Rights Makes A Comeback

After being ripped up earlier this year, California politicians are pushing for a new mobile phone bill of rights for consumers in California. While the idea of such a bill of rights to counter the industry’s control and set of “worst practices,” having fifty different regulations to follow is a burden for carriers that doesn’t make much sense either. If the industry were smart they would come up with their own set of reasonable regulations (and stick to them!), but their inability to actually do so is opening the door for politicians to do it for them.
