UMTS TDD Trial At Orange France
This news was quietly visible at 3GSM in Cannes, but had not yet been announced on the press wire, but yesterday Orange France announced it is trialling UMTS TDD solutions from IPWireless for Broadband Wireless Access (BWA). The Orange trial will be targeted at enterprise mobility in the Lille region, a growing technology area in the North. It’s interesting that Orange shareholder France Telecom is trialing WiMAX and Orange is trialing UMTS TDD. By the way, I have clients in the UMTS TDD space, which I disclose in the comments.
