Yahoo Takes On Vazu

Well, it’s not so much taking them on, since most people don’t know who Vazu is — however, they’re probably not all that thrilled today. Vazu is the company that launched an offering last year that let you easily send info on your computer to your phone. Now, Yahoo appears to be offering a very similar service, and it sounds like they’re doing it on their own. It still sounds fairly limited — focusing only on Yahoo’s local search offering, but I expect we’ll see a lot of similar offerings in the near future, making it easier to tie together your computer and mobile phone data.
