Should Your Employer Block Your Spam?

from the trying-to-sell-more-anti-spam-software? dept

It shouldn’t be surprising to discover that a study done by an anti-spam company that is trying to sell more anti-spam software to corporations has come up with a study saying employees believe their employers should be responsible for spam, but it seems like a strange sort of survey anyway — clearly designed more for marketing purposes than anything else. Almost anyone would say that whoever is responsible for their mail server is likely to have some responsibility in trying to cut out spam. At home, that’s your ISP. At work, that’s your employer’s IT department.
