Text Messaging World Record Already Broken

It appears that here in the early days of text messaging, the fastest fingers… er… thumbs, are getting faster all the time. Last month we wrote about the new world record for fastest texting, where “The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human.” was tapped out in 67 seconds. However, records are made to be broken, and already a young woman in Singapore has thumbed in the same message in an astounding 43.66 seconds. Once they get into using decimals in such records you know they’re serious. Expect this record to be broken soon as well.
