In an age of one-click everything, it’s no surprise that we’ve been seeing more Dewey Defeats Truman-like stories in the press. In fact, earlier this week, the Tampa Tribune published an editorial on why the Lightning lost the Stanley Cup in hockey – when the truth was that they had won. However, it’s not just newspapers that make these kinds of mistakes any more. Apparently, the winner of a gubernatorial primary in Montana accidentally emailed reporters his concession speech. Of course, when you’re on the winning side, it’s easy to laugh about it afterwards.
