AT&T Wireless Offering Trans-Atlantic Texting
Realizing that we live in a global economy these days, and just being able to text message with folks on your own continent may be a bit limiting, AT&T Wireless has added the ability to send and receive messages across the Atlantic. US subscribers can send and receive messages to European users. Of course, they’re not the first to do this. Back in December, Verizon Wireless and Vodafone announced similar plans and T-Mobile already allowed such cross-continent messaging among T-Mobile users on both sides of the pond.
