Bluetoothing For Sex With Strangers?

Wired News has a report on folks (mostly in the UK) who are apparently using Bluetooth to connect with strangers on trains in order to have sex. The practice is called Toothing, and it reads like a made-up fad by some folks who want it to be true. Maybe press coverage like the article here will make it into a self-fulfilling prophecy, but I really wonder how popular this is – other than in the minds of the noticeably anonymous people quoted in the article.
