Apparently, at LaGuardia International Airport in NYC, WiFi is being used to send updated information to plasma display screens that offer advertising and travel information. This isn’t all that revolutionary, but it’s always good to see companies realizing that WiFi is about more than just selling access so people can surf the internet.
