UWB Players Still Haggling Over Referee
Just a quick update on the story we had last month about Pulse Link’s technology that would let the competing UWB standards work at the same time without stamping each other out. Apparently, a task group met last week to try to get both sides on board for this program, but the Multiband OFDM folks still aren’t interested. They point out (and I tend to agree) that this won’t solve the real problem – which is that there will still be incompatible standards that will cause market confusion and slow down adoption.
