Useless Study: Businesses More Interested In WiFi Than In 3G
In what has to be one of the more useless studies around, a group of CIOs were asked which was more important to them these days: 3G or WiFi. Take a wild guess at the answer. Of course CIOs are more interested in WiFi. It’s here now, it works, and it serves a useful purpose. 3G is still an immature technology that doesn’t have the same practical uses today in a corporate setting as WiFi does. All this study seems to prove is that most CIOs are pretty good at stating the obvious. I guess that’s better than the opposite.
