AOL Back To Pushing Dialup?

from the back-and-forth... dept

For years, AOL was in denial about broadband – and for something of a good reason: they make less money off of broadband customers than their dialup customers. However, inevitability, people were going to switch to broadband, and AOL has been acting like they’ve gotten the message. They’ve been promoting broadband quite a bit while also trying to come up with additional value adds for broadband (not particularly successfully, but they’re trying…). Now, however, comes a report that they’re going back to trying to sign up dialup subscribers again. Seems like they’re not really sure what they should be doing.
