Job Board Lets You Check Your Own Background

from the lying-to-yourself? dept

As the various internet job sites try to differentiate themselves from each other, HotJobs has now added a feature to let users do a background check on themselves. You assume that someone will know if they’re lying on their resume, but the point is (similar to doing a credit check on yourself) to get an idea of what potential employers will see on your background check, and making sure that everything is accurate (or, to make sure that your little untruths aren’t revealed).
