NEC Launching Card Shaped Cameraphone

There are plenty of sites out there that concentrate on the latest device launches, so we usually avoid those stories, unless there’s something special or unique about the device in question. NEC is launching what they call the smallest camera-phone available. It’s “card shaped” (very flat). I have no clue how well it will do in the market, but the more interesting point is that the device makers are starting to work on ways to shrink camera phones. One of the complaints on camera phones has always been that they’re larger and bulkier than other phones (something those with bigger hands don’t always complain about). Now, if they could only figure out a better way to offer a big keyboard on a tiny phone… then we’d be in business.
