While most people in Las Vegas last week were checking out CES, Justin Hall decided to go next door and check out the Adult Entertainment Expo – with a focus on looking at how they’re using wireless technologies, of course (why else would he be there?). While everyone can joke about his reasons for being there (discovering the real purpose of the vibrate function?) it is a serious question – since the porn world often does adopt technology and apply it before it moves onto more mainstream applications. However, it appears the adult entertainment business is still struggling with how the wireless world can be useful to them. There was some vague talk of ideas, but big break throughs (other than a wireless sex toy). Perhaps, it’s really just not the right medium for adult entertainment.
