Broadcom Goes A Little Faster With Their WiFi

It’s become very clear now that, no matter how pointless the local network speed is to most people, the higher the speed on the box, the more people are willing to buy your WiFi equipment. So, it’s really no surprise that Broadcom is now touting their own enhanced 802.11g chipset that they say can reach speeds of 125 Mbps, which is just slightly ahead of claims from competitor Atheros on their enhanced g product.
