3G Towers Safer Than 2G Towers
As there seems to be a growing trend of mobile phone tower destruction, the Australian government is trying to calm down those who are objecting to new 3G towers, pointing out that 3G masts are safer than 2G masts. This is probably of little comfort to those who are against the towers – as it does suggest that 2G towers aren’t all that safe in the first place. Also, many people will probably claim that no tower still seems a lot safer than any tower.
