Verizon, Vodafone Go For Cross Atlantic SMS
Well, now that SMS interoperability has been taken care of, it’s about time that we can send text messages around the glob. Verizon Wireless and Vodafone have now announced plans to offer transatlantic text messaging. Right now, Verizon Wireless subscribers can send messages to Vodafone subscribers in the UK, but next year it will be expanded to other areas in Europe.
