Call Forward Device For Mobile Phones

Two months ago we wrote about Cingular’s plan to let subscribers forward all their mobile phone calls to a landline when they’re at home. In order to use the $3/month service, you have to buy a small cradle device, and dump your phone in it. Using the plan won’t eat up any of your minutes, or cost anything additional for forwarding. Now, the Associated Press is running a review of the device/service and they seem to think it’s wonderful. It is a good idea, actually. Unlike some folks, I still do use my landline at home – and when I’m there, I prefer to use my nice landline phone to my clunky mobile phone. I’m a bit surprised that no one else is offering anything similar yet.
