Nokia Says N-Gage Sales Strong, Analysts Not Impressed

While some initial reports on N-Gage sales showed positively dismal sales numbers, Nokia has come out with a statement saying that they sold 400,000 N-Gage’s in the first two weeks, which they consider a booming success. It certainly beats those initial reports, but many analysts say, it’s pretty small on a global scale. Also, if you look at the details of the story, Nokia is counting the devices they’ve sold to stores – and not how many customers actually purchased, so it might not be particularly accurate.
