The Origins Of Wireless

While we’re usually focused on the latest and greatest news in the wireless space, this “old” wireless story still seems appropriate. USA Today is running a review and an excerpt from Signor Marconi’s Magic Box, a new book about the invention of the first “wireless” technology. The review suggests that it’s “wireless” that is the main character in the story and not Signor Marconi himself (who, evidently, didn’t understand why his invention worked). It’s also interesting to note that the original uses were for communicating between people – and only later did radio become a one-way broadcast medium.
