Latest US Spam Bill Lets Spammers Police Themselves
from the we'll-be-good,-we-swear dept
The latest revision of one of many poorly thought out anti-spam laws in the US will let certain email companies be above the law if they agree to self-regulate themselves. Basically, they’re saying that if they’re a big enough operation, they shouldn’t have to abide by any silly laws. More evidence of why anti-spam legislation in the US doesn’t seem likely to do anything to help solve the spam problem.

Hang my head in shame.
Are there any parts of Canada that don’t have nasty winters?
I’m thinking its almost time for me to give up on this country and find a new one… and I already speak the language, eh?
Re: Hang my head in shame.
Vancouver and Victoria have very mild winters usually.
The Toronto area isn’t too bad either…although Toronto is a very cold and boring city IMHO.
Montreal is the best…but the winters can be harsh unfortunately. 🙁
