Political Endorsement Of Blackberries?
Already, US Congress members are addicted to their Blackberries, so it’s no surprise that Florida’s Speaker of the House is proposing that all Florida state house members get Blackberry devices, paid for by the public. I can understand the obsession, but I wonder why the request is specifically for “Blackberry” devices. They’ve already endorsed a single corporate solution when there are other (perhaps less well-known) solutions out there. Why not put out a proposal for a “mobile email solution” rather than naming RIM’s product outright?
