Are Cellular Networks Interfering With Emergency Radio?

Lots of talk buzzing around the internet this morning about a story in the Washington Post about how emergency rescue workers are complaining that the increase in cellular network coverage has been interfering with their own emergency wireless communications abilities. Though nothing terrible has resulted from these “dead spots”, they’re increasingly being identified, and now the FCC is trying to do something to stop the interference.
