Cell Phone Caller Leads Police To Killer

This is our second example of a story like this, and I imagine it’s only a matter of time before they come much more common – though, in the future they’ll also include text messages and photos snapped with camera phones. Back in July we had the story of a couple who reported the location of some bank robbers to the police via their mobile phone, as they followed them in their car. Now, in Chicago, a woman told police of the location of a killer, after she heard a gunshot and saw a man run into his car. The police eventually arrested the man, while simultaneously sending other officers to check out the house where the gunshots were fired.
