Network Solutions Glitch Darkens Sites

Considering they run the core domain name servers, it’s not a very encouraging sign to hear that Network Solutions had a bug in their software which knocked 30,000 sites they hosted offline by not properly routing the domain name requests to the proper IP number. Isn’t that the whole point of what Network Solutions is supposed to be able to do?
