Some McDonald's Franchisees Got A Jump On WiFi

While McDonald’s is getting a ton of press for their continued rollout of WiFi access in their restaurants, at least two McDonald’s franchises in the Chicago area didn’t wait for McDonald’s Corporate approval and set up their own, free, WiFi on their own. They say that it’s good for the community as a whole, and has let them build better relationships with their customers, while also bringing in extra customers. Of course, I wonder what happens when McDonald’s tries to push them to get with the corporate WiFi program…
