Mobile Phone Use May Improve Men?s Memory

Most studies about the impact of mobile phone electromagnetic fields radiation focuses on whether or not it causes cancer. However, it appears that some researchers are looking at other things as well. Found over at Gizmodo is the news of a study that discovered that EMF from mobile phones may improve the short term memory of men (but not women). These are pretty odd findings – as you would expect the results not to be gender specific. It sounds like a fairly small sample size, and I’d have plenty of questions about how the study was conducted. I’d bet, on further testing, that the gender split does not pass scrutiny. Whether or not the electromagnetic fields actually have any impact on short-term memory, however, is an entirely different question which (again) probably requires a lot more testing.
