Consulting Firm Helps Cut Out Corporate Bull

from the consultants-with-too-much-time dept

Over the past few years, most of the folks I know at any of the big name consulting firms admit that they’re spending a lot more time doing nothing than actually working on projects. So, if you’re an unstaffed consultant with too much free time (and too many useless buzzwords floating around your head), what are you going to do? It appears that a group of very bored unstaffed folks at Deloitte Consulting have written a nice little application to run through your Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents to alert you if you’re using too many corporate “bull” buzzwords. As, they say: “We’ve had it with repurposeable, value-added knowledge capital and robust, leveragable mindshare.” Though, of course, they admit that they might have had something to do with the overuse of those words in the first place. You can download “BullFighter” yourself, if you want to make sure you don’t get caught up using synergistic extensible repositories to incentivize your team to create a new accretive paradigm to leverage existing assets into measurable benchmarks.
