New Class Of Business: Spectrum Broker

Since the government changed the lawbooks to allow spectrum license holders to sell, transfer, or lease their spectrum rights we have seen some early activity. It stands to reason that we will soon see the emergence of “Spectrum Landlords” which buy up spectrum and lease it out to network operators. Carriers also may spin off divisions to deal out their excess spectrum.
